Thames Meander Spring

A stunningly scenic riverside race series starting from the Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts HQ, Douglas House Meadow, Richmond, TW10 7AH. The revised run-route heads out towards Canbury Gardens on an out / back loop. It will be one 6.2 mile out / back loop for the 10km race. The run-route for the half and marathon will be two 6.55-mile laps for the half marathon and four 6.55-mile laps for the marathon. The turnaround points will be at the entrance to Canbury Gardens, Kingston-upon-Thames for the 1okm race and for the half and marathon run-route the turnaround point is just by the Boaters Inn Public House in Kingston- upon- Thames. All three race distances are very fast, flat on a runnable route proceeding all along the Thames Path, and the course is very well marked and marshalled all the way along. The Check Points will be well stocked and there will be excellent medical support throughout the race from our KLP Medics that are stationed at the Start / Finish (Check Point 1) and at Canbury Gardens (Check Point 2).
